Oh, nothing....

I get asked all the time how I got so tan and what we did this summer. I tend to say "oh, nothing." But my mom heard someone ask me that the other day and she said, "are you kidding?" and started naming all of the things we have done this summer. Thought I would share them with you! We posed for pictures
We played in our "pool"

We smiled!

We played at the park (and posed for more pictures).

We got new tractors at the dollar store.

we had snacks

we played some more

we took naps (with Buzz, Mickey, and a dragon)

we ate watermelon

We went to the Sprinkler Park

We played at another park

We (they) went down slides

we climbed poles

We ate ice cream (in the truck)

We discovered that what we thought were watermelon in our garden are actually pumpkin!

We played in our sandbox

We "swang"

We rode motorcycles

and...we went to a baseball game.

This was a special trip because it was the boy's first trip to a baseball game. We sat on the bluff (because the seats are cheaper and the kids could run around.)

there wasn't much baseball watching

oh, well we watched a little...notice Wyatt doing exactly what daddy's doing! This is one of many reasons I call him "Monkey." "monkey see, monkey do!"

my husband smiling. he is a pretty happy guy, but to catch him actually smiling in a picture is rare. Guess you can tell he LOVES his kiddos.

We had a great summer so far. No true get away vacation, but we had a GREAT staycation!
